Frequently Asked Questions
What cost savings do I get as a member of Modern Care DPC?
As a member of Modern Care DPC, you’ll enjoy significant cost savings across various aspects of your healthcare. For example, your annual labs—such as CBC, CMP, TSH, Lipid Panel, Vitamin D*, PSA*, and UA*—are included at no additional cost with your annual physical. You’ll also have access to deeply discounted prices on specialty labs, including hormone testing, autoimmune panels, advanced lipid tests, allergy testing, stool studies, and more.
Additionally, we’ve negotiated the best imaging rates with local imaging centers, allowing you to access high-quality imaging at a fraction of the usual cost. In many cases, we can arrange for imaging to be done the same day. If you have insurance, you’ll be able to compare our prices with your insurance rates. In many cases, cash-pay pricing is cheaper than your copay, and you’ll receive your results faster—without waiting on insurance approvals or denials.
As part of our commitment to keeping costs low, in the near future, we will also offer an in-house pharmacy, allowing you to purchase medications at-cost. This means you can save even more on prescriptions compared to traditional pharmacy pricing. Pricing will be listed for full transparency.

What are your non-member dermatology services?
Yes, we do offer walk-in appointments for non-members, as long as there are openings in our schedule. Please note that walk-in visits are subject to a fee, which is outlined on our Services/Pricing page. Payments for walk-in visits are cash-only, and pricing is based on non-member rates listed on the same page.
For emergencies requiring immediate attention, please call 911 or be seen in the ER.
Do you offer virtual visits/telehealth?
Yes! One of the main benefits of a Direct Primary Care (DPC) practice is the convenience it offers. We are proud to provide virtual visits/telehealth options to ensure you can get the care you need from the comfort of your work/home. With quick response times, we strive to schedule appointments and follow-ups within 24 to 48 hours, prioritizing your time and health.
Do you accept insurance?
No, we do not accept insurance for primary care services. Instead, our practice operates on a cash-pay model, which allows us to provide more personalized, affordable care without the administrative burden that insurance often brings. However, we are happy to assist you by submitting prior authorizations for expensive imaging, lab work, or medications on your behalf.
What is an Executive Physical?
An executive physical is a one-time, non-member annual physical designed for patients seeking a comprehensive health assessment. This service includes an in-depth physical exam, cancer screenings (such as whole-body MRI and serum cancer screening, additional fee), extensive lab work (extra costs for certain tests), and an EKG. The consultation fee (see Services/Pricing page) covers the physical itself, but it does not include member benefits, such as increased access to the provider or ongoing care under our DPC model. Please note that medication refills will need to be handled through the patient’s primary care provider (PCP).
This is a non-member service, and non-member pricing applies. Note: This service is not available for Medicare patients at this time.
Do you offer vacccines?
No, we do not offer vaccines at this time. Due to the high costs of vaccines and the storage requirements involved, many smaller practices, including DPC models, find it challenging to provide them. However, we can guide you to local resources where you can receive vaccines at a reasonable cost, and we’re happy to coordinate with your preferred pharmacy to ensure you stay up-to-date with your immunizations.
What ages will you see in your practice?
We provide care for patients of all ages, from newborns to the elderly. Whether you’re bringing in your little one for their first check-up or seeking care in your golden years, we’re happy to serve patients at every stage of life.
Do you offer Botox? GLP-1 (weight loss)?
Yes, we are trained and experienced in offering both Botox and GLP-1 treatments for the appropriate patients. These services are provided as non-member services for everyone (see Services/Pricing page).
